To, synthesise versatile ligand for catalytic systems and their exploration towards different cross-coupling reaction in the formation of C-C, C-S, C-N, C-O bond forming reactions namely Heck, Suzuki, Sonogashira, Buchwald-Hartwig etc. Hence, apply these developed protocols for the functionalization of bio-molecules and also in drug molecule synthesis.
The term sustainability and green chemistry has been coined after the classic entitled “Silent Spring” written by Rachel Carson. Sustainable development in synthetic organic chemistry with the help of the twelve prominent principles of green chemistry suggested by Paul Anastas. In reality the green chemistry not only offers the sustainable synthetic practices, but also teaches how to explore the potential of available resources with high synthetic elegance. Therefore, scientific community advances chemical transformations from the perspectives of green and sustainable chemistry which involves the use of biodegradable raw materials, catalysts, atom as well as step economical methodologies, replacement of volatile organic solvents with alternatives.
In this regards, we have developed the catalytic system which can enhance the activity for the cross-coupling reactions and can develop the greener protocol by modifications of heterocycles and nucleosides. We incorporated the water as greener solvent along with ambient conditions of reactions such temperature, pressure, low metal loading as a catalyst.
